ORX Network

ORX succeeds because of the involvement and commitment of its members. ORX members place a high value on participation in the ORX network or “club”. ORX offers the following opportunities for engagement.


ORX Board of Directors

The ORX Board of Directors is responsible for development and oversight of ORX strategy. The Board is made up of 21 elected representatives from ORX banks. The Board meets three times a year in person.

ORX Working and Contact Groups

ORX operates a number of Working and Contact Groups responsible for the delivery of various ORX work programmes and products. The standing groups include:

 

Definitions Working Group
Responsible for oversight, maintenance and development of ORX Reporting Standards.

 

Analytics Working Group
Responsible for oversight and delivery of ORX research programme and taking forward the use of ORX data.

 

Operational Risk Transfer Working Group
Responsible for developing initiative to increase the value ORX members take from their operational risk transfer and insurance programmes.


ORX Heads of Operational Risk Forum

ORX organises an annual offsite Forum for member bank Heads of Operational Risk. The Forum exists to provide Senior Members with the opportunity to meet and discuss the development of operational risk management as a discipline. The 2009 Forum was held in Dublin, Ireland and the next one in 2010 will be held in Toronto, Canada in October 2010.
